Connecting members from all over the world facilitates growth
Providing facilities for networking and encouraging communications between members and with other statistical communities is key to attracting more members and engaging them with the work of the International Statistical Institute.
This will enable the International Statistical Institute to be more effective, and especially help us towards our objectives of leading, supporting and promoting the statistical community; disseminating research and best practice; growing the statistical community in developing countries; advancing the development of younger statisticians and encouraging the continuing participation of all members.

As usual, we launched a series of online webinars, also from our Associations.
We add all webinars to our Courses, Webinars & Worshops Online Library, that is available on the International Statistical Institute website.

Launched the new ISI Website
In April 2023, we have launched the new ISI website that is more secure, sustainable and cost effective. By giving a good overview of our priorities, activities and membership information, our communication becomes more impactful and enhances our connection with our statistical community.
We aim to serve not only ISI members, committees and our Associations, but also any partner, organisation, or stakeholder who is currently or will be connected with the International Statistical Institute and its wider statistical community in the next decade.

Introduced Communities Platform for members
Together with the new ISI website, we launched the Communities platform.
The ISI Communities Platform is a members-only platform built to enable members to connect with other ISI members, interact, create events, store and share data in a secure way.

Newsletters & blogs
To inform our members and the statistical community, we published monthly newsletters with important information on (calls for papers for) congresses, courses, webinars, awards and prizes, quarterly membership elections results, committees and association's news and announcements and important information from our partners.

Procured an Event Management System
In order to facilitate the ISI, its Associations and Committees to organize and manage their events, we have procured an event management system. This system consists of three modules:
- website for conference information and access to the registration and abstact management module
- registration and payment module connected with our finance and membership system
- abstract management module to submit and review papers and posters, which automatically uploads the approved papers and posters in the program on the website.
This system is available for our Committees and Associations, to use for their events.

Increased Social Media Activities and Engagement
We worked on a new newsletter plan to improve the newsletters, relevant to the purposes and audiences.
We extended our Social Media reach and increased the use of LinkedIn, Facebook and X.

Created Blueprints for New Ways of Working
We created blueprints for events such as World Statistics Congress to have a consistent and continuing plan.

Developed a new World Statistics Congress 2023 Website and Branding
We developed a new future proof website. This platform, together with the new branding was built for the World Statistics Congresses and Regional Statistics Conferences. This can also be used for any upcoming events.
